Why Socials

Made by athletes, for athletes.

A feed for the people inside the athlete’s ecosystem, not the whole internet.

• Share achievements, progress, and tips with teammates, coaches, trainers, and family.
• Every post can carry the verified result behind it.
• No general-audience noise: the feed is athletes and the people who support them.
• A space for this that general social networks do not offer.

What Socials is

• A feed from the people you follow

  Posts run newest first: a photo, a video, a completed workout, or a challenge, with a caption. Like, Comment, Send, and Share sit under each one.

• An @handle for every role

  Athletes, parents, coaches, trainers, and recruiters each carry one @handle, chosen at onboarding. It is how people find and mention you.

• Verified-only numbers

  A lift or PR shows a number only after ARCQTYPE has verified it. Everything else reads Pending, so nobody has a reason to over-report. Workout posts never show the load.

• Guardian consent tiers for 13–17

  A parent decides on one consent page — None, Training only, or All — what a 13–17 athlete can share. Nothing is on until the parent turns it on.

• Adults: private by default

  An adult account is private until its owner opens it. A private profile is visible only to accepted followers.

• Under 13: fully off

  Athletes under 13 have no social profile. No feed, no followers, no messages.

What Socials is not

• No reposts. A post stays with its author; it is never re-shared into someone else's feed.
• No rankings inside the feed. A post is a post, not a score.
• No public feed. Nothing on arcqtype.com shows a post, a follower count, or a profile without signing in.
• Leaderboard placements and top-10 highlights are the only public surface — planned for after launch, and only for athletes whose consent allows it.

Messages

• Direct messages and crew or team groups, sorted by the latest message. Only people who pass the same gate as following can reach you.

• Conversations sort into All · Parents · Team · Athletes & Crews · Trainers · Recruiters, so a coach's inbox and a family thread never mix.

• A trainer or coach can propose a session from inside a message; accepting it lands on both calendars.

Every role has a seat

One athlete at the center; everyone else joins by invitation and sees only what the athlete — or the athlete's guardian — allows.

Moderation and reporting

Every post, comment, and message carries Report. Blocking drops any follow both ways and hides both accounts from each other.

A guardian can delete a minor's post. Everything a 13–17 athlete posts is mirrored to the parent.
